About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Naples, Osteria Tulia offers an authentic taste of Italy with a refined, modern twist. This charming Italian restaurant on 5th Avenue South masterfully combines rustic, fresh flavors with an inviting atmosphere, making every meal a memorable experience.

Osteria Tulia's menu is a celebration of classic Italian cuisine, featuring house-made fresh pastas that are a standout highlight. From the perfectly al dente Bucatini Cacio e Pepe with its creamy sheep cheese and cracked black pepper, to the hearty Garganelli dressed in a rich braised lamb neck sugo, each dish is thoughtfully prepared to elevate traditional flavors. The Agnolotti Del Plin, delicately stuffed with braised veal and accompanied by summer squash, parma butter, and sage, delivers layers of luxurious textures and taste.

Seafood lovers will delight in the Wood Charred Octopus, artfully plated with a medley of garnishes that enhance every bite, while the Grilled Tuna Sandwich offers a satisfying balance of smoky and fresh notes. The Burrata Di Caserta, bringing silky creaminess paired with fresh accompaniments, is perfect for those seeking a lighter option. And for pizza aficionados, the Classico Pizza is a crowd-pleaser, boasting a perfectly crisp crust laden with quality toppings.

Complement your meal with expertly crafted cocktails, such as the refreshing and effervescent Aperol Spritz, or enjoy a glass of wine at the lively bar where the friendly staff, like bartender Lynn, ensure every guest feels welcome and attended to with genuine warmth.

Dining at Osteria Tulia is more than just a meal — it’s an immersive experience wrapped in a cozy and energetic ambiance. Warm wood tones, inviting lighting, and the hum of contented diners create the perfect backdrop for savoring rustic yet elevated Italian fare.

Regular patrons praise the consistently impeccable food and attentive service. Diane Whalen notes how a warm reception at the bar turned an early arrival into a delightful dinner, while Salty Doug Sailing praises the unbeatable combination of fantastic food, reasonable prices, and the vibrant Fifth Avenue setting. Guests like Garry Garmash rave about the flawless pasta texture and richly flavored sauces, and Dave Elfassy highlights the unmistakable commitment to fresh, daily-made pasta that truly sets Osteria Tulia apart.

Whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch featuring the bright and fresh Mista Salad or settling in for a memorable dinner complete with Veal Chop Parmigiana, Osteria Tulia consistently delivers a culinary journey that is both heartfelt and sophisticated. Reservations are recommended, especially in the bustling high season, but even summer visits offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy this gem with a little more ease.

We were supposed to have dinner at Molto, we arrived early for our reservation and they were rather snooty about it. So we came to Tulia, we sat at the bar for a glass of wine & Lynn, the bartender was extremely welcoming and friendly. We decided to stay & have dinner at Tulia instead. The food was fabulous! We will be back ..

Stopped in and had the Caesar salad and “My Michelle“ pizza, washing those down with a white sangria and Moretti Lager. Food was absolutely fantastic! Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and you can’t beat the view of fifth Avenue.

We always love it when we visit! The food and the service never disappoints. We stopped in last weekend for lunch and just as other times, it was great. They have such fresh Italian flavors. It’s rustic, but still elevated. With it being summer, getting a table and finding parking was much easier than season. Otherwise, you always need to make a reservation if you want to be sure to have a table.

Amazing restaurant!! The pastas are cooked perfectly firm!! The sauces are incredible, mild yet very flavorful. The dishes as well as appetizers are all accompanied by a garnish, so many restaurants get lazy and simply throw an octopus arm on a plate, not here it comes with a beautiful medley of garnish. Service was great ! Great job, we will be back !!!!

We had such a great experience at this Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Naples. The atmosphere was beautiful — cozy, warm, and full of energy. You can tell right away this place takes pride in what they serve; it’s the only spot in the area that makes their pasta fresh every single day, and you can taste the difference. Every dish we had was bursting with flavor — the pasta was cooked perfectly, the arancini appetizer was crispy and delicious, and the beet and goat cheese salad was absolutely phenomenal. We ended with the tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and the perfect finish to an amazing meal. If you’re in Naples and love authentic Italian food, this place is a must-visit!

La Osteria Tulia delivers an unforgettable Italian dining experience. The food was extraordinary, the salmon with a sweet glaze over fresh greens and strawberries was perfectly balanced, and the seafood pasta was delicious, served without shells for easy enjoyment. The floor manager was a true professional, ensuring excellent service. The only downside is the noise level, but for group celebrations, it’s ideal. Highly recommended with a reservation.

Truly authentic Italian dining experience! Osteria Tulia was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The food was authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor — every dish tasted like it came straight from Italy. The chef Vincenzo B. personally came by to say hello, which made the experience even more special. The service was warm and professional, and the wine selection was outstanding perfectly complementing each course. The tiramisu authentic and perfect taste. A must-visit in Naples for anyone who loves genuine Italian cuisine and top-tier hospitality!
